The association consists of full members, life members, honorary members, and supporting members. Full members and life members are approved by the Board. The Board also grants resignation from membership. A person who has been particularly distinguished in the association’s activities may be invited as an honorary member. Honorary membership is granted by the association’s general meeting upon a proposal by the Board. A supporting member supports the association’s activities financially.
Full members, life members, and honorary members have the right to participate in the association’s activities and meetings, as well as to use the saunas during the Saturday sauna sessions organized by the association during the summer season. The amount of the membership fee is decided by the association’s annual general meeting. In 2026, the membership fee for a full member is 60 euros and the life membership fee is 600 euros.
Supporting members do not have voting rights at the association’s meetings. The contribution for supporting membership ranges from 50 to 500 euros.
Applications for membership and changes to members’ contact information are made by notifying the Board via email at info@saunakyla.fi. The association’s membership fees and other income are used in their entirety to carry out the association’s activities.
