Saunakylä

Located on the shores of Lake Päijänne, in Juokslahti in Jämsä, Saunakylä is a journey into the centuries-old history of the Finnish sauna and an authentic sauna experience. All saunas are smoke saunas and all are different. Saunakylä is the only sauna village in the world, there is no other like it.

The sauna village is a museum, so to speak, but differs from a traditional museum in that the smoke saunas are authentically in their original use. Come and experience the steam baths of historical saunas.
